I read something the other day that really kind of upset me. The statement went something like this, “you can’t put your family first and be a good successful business owner.” Well I’ll see your faithless segregated thinking and raise you one phrase that keeps me believing in so much more. God empowers us all in very different ways. He carves our these beautiful paths and promises and it’s our calling to strive after each one. To be multifaceted and many different things at once is what makes humans so amazing. To believe a women can only truly be one thing or another is so limiting. And quite frankly I’m tired of being put in a box. Motherhood is hard enough where now you have to hear the cowardly thoughts of others stating, if you chose one, that you fail at the other. •

Listen up. God can create a power in you where you CAN chose everything you’re called to do or be. It’s totally possible. Your worth does not lie in being accepted by some self righteous thinking. Please do me a favor. If you’ve ever felt like you couldn’t do or be more than one person, feeling, career choice, calling at a time because it showed failure, ditch that thought. Throw it into the dirt, and stomp it down until the dust settles and you’re left feeling free. • .
